University of Liverpool Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, MRC Centre for Drug Safety SciencePhD Training Position in Toxicological Pharmacology and Pathology£18,000 pa - stipendThis 3-year research training post, partly funded by Industry (and open to UK/ EU applicants), provides an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian interested in a career in applied toxicological pharmacology and pathology. You will be based in the MRC Centre for Drug Safety Science and work under the supervision of pharmacologists and veterinary pathologists on a collaborative, interdisciplinary project on toxins leading to systemic changes, with special emphasis on pneumotoxicity. The project will provide you with experience in a variety of up-to-date pharmacological and morphological research techniques. You must have an EU-recognised veterinary degree. Some experience in veterinary pathology, pharmacology, biochemistry or toxicology would be of benefit.
